this poem is mostley aboutthe woman saying how she sees herself as a pampered queen and was so beautiful in egyption time.
The theme of this poem is about a wealthy women living in Egypt. I believe the title sas it all because this women is ''ego tripped''. She says ''I am so hip even my errors are correct'' this just tells you that she is living it up and she is just the most perfect person around.

well i think that this women maybe trying to think to herself that she is perfect and totally awsome so that she feels more than the rest of the people around her or she might not be completely secure about herself so shes trying to make herself feel better. or it could be that she does have all of which she speaks of but these are material things which dont make her happy completely but she tries to make it seem like she is

yes, this poem is very much about a persons ego. the capitalizations are mostly all on words like "I" and "My" and anything talking about the writter. i think the point she's trying to make is that there is a fine difference between pride and ego, and when you go into being "ego-tripped" you are too stuck on yourself and don't care what else is going on because you're just so great.

this poem is a little confusing. but this person/women talks about the history as if she is there like first she describes how she is building a pyramid then sitting in throne has a son who builds the ark and i think she refers to Jesus.... so its weird
i dont think that shes talking about herself. i think shes talking about god talking about himself. like the title says "maybe there is a reason", maybe the reason why god can have an ego trip is because he created the world. as she describes how his mistakes or accidents created the things or moments on earth that are so wonderful, it makes you began to see that he can have an ego trip because it is in fact so wonderful.
I absolutely liked this poem, it has a mixture of simplicity, courage, i think the poem was all about the power of life and gods through time, she describes herself as the creator of some huge world changes even before humanity existed, her description was easy for me to understand, her capitalization used to mark each one of her ideas,how at every end of paragraph she actually describes a part of what she really is, in body and her imagination drives her to this fact of all powerful creature. When she says: i was thirsty so i sent an ice age was like a demonstration of the simplicity of her words, she says it like if she was so powerful that making an ice age would mean nothing for her, even knowing how small and comon she really is.Finally I think the whole idea of the poem is demonstrate through historic real passages how just one person could do everything, or how she as a single human could do any of those thing (or almost any), and how could anyone do it.I really liked it.

i think the poem is describing god. i think it shows how people take so much credit away from him, and that hes trying to remind people of all the things that he has done. this poem shows how people like to brag about what theyve done in life, when it was really him all along who lets us take away his brilliance.
